If you consider "company cars" (as someone here has already said) are they being paid for electricity used to recharge? Everyone knows company cars run forever...

2/ "long trips" are to nearby beaches about 40km away. I charge it at home, I don't use the super chargers scattered about the place. I should probably look into where they are situated ... but I'm not holidaying anytime soon. 🙄

I think Hybrids have been sold on the back of "range anxiety". I have an electric vehicle (BEV) that I bought 2.5 years ago. It is the base model and as a consequence only has a range when fully charged of 270km. It works fine because my driving is almost exclusively around town, the only ... 2/

Here in Queensland, Yes: the two "give way" signs sort of cancel each other, so we revert to the original "right of way" rules. But, in Victoria as far as I know, it's the opposite: the vehicle turning right has "right of way" as an attempt to mitigate risk from crossing two opposed lanes of traffic
