I was so crestfallen and unbelievably mad by the circumstances, wasting an entire day off from work to do it, only to miss it by 20 minutes that I couldn't make myself attempt it again until the game's 10th anniversary, and I streamed the entire thing on my Twitch channel

So, 10 years and 28 hours

7 Day Survivor for Dead Rising, took 10 years, only because my first attempt I had to write off an entire day off from work to do it, a whole 14 hours in-game nonstop...only to have some of the much needed food after fighting Carlito in the basement was unreachable...and I missed it by 20 minutes

Yeah it's really something to go back and watch shows with a more accumulation of worldly knowledge & see it with different eyes. MLP Gen 4 is most def one of those shows, but going back and watching something like PeeWee's Playhouse from the 80s, there was so much multi-level humor I totally missed

Luna's redemption arc was some of the best writing I have seen in *ANY* show, there's so much subtlety that easily gets missed if you're not looking, like her offering candy to her own statue as if to say she could keep herself away from everyone because they're still afraid of her, that is DEEP

Luna may be number 1 in my heart, but Fluttershy is my oshi, out of the Mane 6 she's the one I adore most

Yeah the writing team was punching well above the target age group it was marketed for, really gave the parents in the room an incentive to watch

Literally in the first episode, there's a Benny Hill style chase scene with Yakety Sax playing, and two references to Apocalypse Now...IN A KIDS SHOW

I also stopped by monastery and visited mother’s plot. There were fresh deer tracks all around so she had visitors of the forest recently which is something I know she’s appreciate. I went to take a picture and my battery checked out at 1% left. I laughed and reflected on things

Of course being in the neighborhood I had to stop by the holy land that is eStarland, and met a couple of Festivus goers that were making the pilgrimage and we swapped stories and my business card is still there 13 years later! #MAGFest2026 #WeAreProfessionals
