Still fncked up about Bud Cort.

What a great time it would be for someone to start up a local delivery service. My favourite Ethiopian place charges an extra $2 through DoorDash. Delivery is an extra $3 plus tip. With the extra mysterious DoorDash fee, what would cost $15 plus tax to pick up ends up costing over $30.

I feel as if today is Friday. I think I’ll just let myself believe it is until the end of the day.

This is probably one of my favourite pics of Muriel and Hollis ever.

Muriel is a bit of an enigma. I spent so much of the initial time with her post-adoption caring for Minou, whose refusal to eat led to a cancer diagnosis. We’re getting to know each other better.

Has anyone tried Koodo’s internet service? I like them as a phone provider but don’t know anyone who’s tried out their internet service.

Three days of rinsing and I have sprouts! It’s been awhile, but I hope to do this regularly again. These are going into a salad and the jar has been washed and refilled to sprout quinoa.

So looking forward to payday this week.

I just subscribed to MUBI. They have a three months for a buck deal right now and I may be glued to a screen all weekend. I’m currently watching Bird, which was nominated for the Palmes d’Or at Cannes in 2024. Barry Keoghan is in it. Nykiya Adams and Franz Rogowski are so good in it!

A few coworkers and I will be trying it out in a couple of weeks after my next payday. The dinner menu seems expensive, though. Banchan are traditionally included w/a meal and don’t mean tacking on +$10. I don’t think the $30/dish cost will fly in Fton, honestly. With tax/tip/drink it’s nearly $50.
