This happened to me in Brazil last week. She asked me if I knew they served snacks and food on the plane. 🙄

I’ve never wondered if my phone would be searched in customs and I never imagined my co-workers not attending an international conference in fear that they would not be able to return. I’m embarrassed by my country and detest Trump and everything he stands for.

Heading back to the states today and I cant seem to stop the tears in my eyes.
I have heavy family stuff to deal with once I land but I am also feeling despair, anxiety, hopelessness, and anger with the country I call home.

I agree with you. I’ll take any signs of life and hope. I have more today than last week but we have so far to go.

Enjoy! I leave this evening and have had a phenomenal time.
