Every year, like clockwork. They work, work, work, and yet complain that I don’t clean the house. I’m not a fucking roomba. They bitch about how much they hurt, yet actively avoid taking days off to heal. I’m tired of their antics, I really am.

Christmas. A holiday of trading gifts for many. For me, it’s countless hours of being nagged and expected to do the shit parents don’t want, and for what? Maybe two days in which I’m forced to play nice with space invaders? Tacky decorations and junk? Yeah, no. I’d rather be a scrooge.

Okay, I have to say it. The final boss for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is annoying AF. The boss has like 7 foot lunge capability to hit you with a large gap between you and him, not to mention how the block mechanic is absolute trash.

So. I don’t know which parents need to hear this, but I’ll say it now: fear does not equal respect. Making your child afraid of you will only foster a bad relationship and guarantee landing yourself in a nursing home. Take it from someone whose parental units have yet to learn this.

To clarify:

I couldn’t sleep because I took a nap at 4 PM yesterday due to my head feeling like someone set off a mortar shell in my skull.

I’ve never snuck out before, and why would I? I don’t exactly have friends.

I rarely cook because they complain about the mess.

So. Can’t sleep since 10 PM last night. Decide to start the day early. Cook myself breakfast.

My parents don’t watch Fox news, but they seriously believe that a convicted felon would be better in office. If I could vote, I would’ve voted Harris because her party at least doesn’t take away individual rights.

This should become a sort of protest movement. Generative AI is the bane of many an artist’s existence.
