Community Research Training - Opportunity We would like to train 6 – 9 people to complete three days of training in Community Researcher, to work with us on a new project. The trainees will receive three days of Quality Marked training in the Fundamentals of Community Research (in person, at BVSC), so no previous research experience is necessary.

📢 BVSC Research & @BhamCityCouncil Public Health are exploring stigma & barriers to testing for HIV, Hep B, Hep C & TB.

They're seeking trainees (no lived experience needed) from these groups:
🔹 Black African women (25-49)
🔹 Asian/Asian British men (35-49)
🔹 Non-UK born Pakistani men (25-34)

Empowering West Midlands Communities to Adapt to Climate Change In July 2022, the West Midlands experienced record-breaking temperatures of over 38°C, causing severe disruptions. Homes overheated, schools closed, transport systems failed, and emergency services were overwhelmed. Additionally, flash flooding has become a regular problem, damaging properties, disrupting roads, and creating health hazards. It is also often the most vulnerable residents in disadvantaged communities that are disproportionately affected.
