look, I know it sounds anal, but there is an enormous underlying problem with the left lazily calling socialistic policies "socialism". Like I said, it fuels the opposition base. The scream that we are socialists and we pretty much tell them to which is counterproductive. Let's not fuel their fire.

The extreme differences between social democracy and socialism don't boil down to semantics. Socialism as a form of government has a bad name. When the left embraces social democratic policies and calls it "socialism", the right screams about how bad socialism is and mislabel us as "socialists".

Not worried about real estate giants, they would be excluded. More worried about the retiree who depends on that rental or two to make ends meet. There could be proper proration phasing out the unneedy such as you imply I was concerned with.
