So many articles these day with headlines like "why aren't more men reading books?" while at the same time twisting their hands about men not reading books for the "right" reasons. You know how many shows I've watched purely because I saw a pretty gifset on tumblr? Relax. The men will be fine.

Poor choice of book aside: the answer is yes, but the answer is also, who cares? Getting into a hobby in order to connect with other people is literally how you are supposed to do it. Learning guitar in the hopes that girls will be into it still means you learned guitar.
