We finished our two performances of Dueling Divas at Judson’s Live at the Dr. Philip’s Center presented by Opera Orlando.

It was awe inspiring to have met Rev. Jesse Jackson. Hearing about his passing is devastating but his legacy still lives on. He was a lovely man with a beautiful heart, full of compassion and will be missed deeply. RIP.

Thinking back on the Super Bowl halftime show, I was enthralled by the performance of Bad Bunny. I enjoyed every ounce of storytelling while he entertained us. The emotion really brought the stories to life. You can easily follow him.

Rising to international acclaim in the 1950/60s, Price was the first Black woman prima donna (principal female singer) at the Metropolitan #Opera. She has won more Grammys (19) than any other classical singer.

Yesterday we concluded our run of Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess and celebrated the retirement of the legendary mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves!! Bravi tutti!!

Porgy 12 is complete and we are heading into our final performance.

Porgy 11 is complete! We are now coming into our final two performances. Our last show is SOLD OUT!

Today, I reflected on all of last night’s experience. We came together to not only celebrate Dr. King Jr’s life but of art itself. Of all of us! Truly inspiring and empowering! Bravi tutti!
