We finished our two performances of Dueling Divas at Judson’s Live at the Dr. Philip’s Center presented by Opera Orlando.

We had a blast singing for everyone. The audience was wonderful and it has been a pleasure! Bravi tutti!

Will see you again at the opera! Ciao!

It was awe inspiring to have met Rev. Jesse Jackson. Hearing about his passing is devastating but his legacy still lives on. He was a lovely man with a beautiful heart, full of compassion and will be missed deeply. RIP.

Thinking back on the Super Bowl halftime show, I was enthralled by the performance of Bad Bunny. I enjoyed every ounce of storytelling while he entertained us. The emotion really brought the stories to life. You can easily follow him.

She is one of the most gracious and kindest people I have met in the opera world. I truly learned much from watching and listening to her.

Black-and-white close-up portrait of legendary American soprano Leontyne Price, gazing upward with a dignified and expressive expression. She wears a dark headscarf (turban-style) framing her face, pearl earrings, and multiple strands of elegant pearl necklaces over a dark dress or top. The dramatic lighting highlights her strong features, poised neck, and commanding presence, evoking her iconic status as the first African American soprano to achieve international acclaim in opera. Born in 1927 in Laurel, Mississippi, Price made her Metropolitan Opera debut in 1961 as Leonora in Verdi's Il Trovatore, became renowned for roles like Aida, Tosca, and Madama Butterfly, performed at La Scala in 1960, won 19 Grammy Awards (including a Lifetime Achievement Award), and broke racial barriers as a trailblazing Black artist in classical music during the mid-20th century.

Opera singer Leontyne Price was born #OTD in 1927. She's 99 today!

Rising to international acclaim in the 1950/60s, Price was the first Black woman prima donna (principal female singer) at the Metropolitan #Opera. She has won more Grammys (19) than any other classical singer.
