You can only buy one dollar's worth of food for one dollar, but they can buy several dollars' worth. So don't, like, buy food to donate it, just give 'em the dough.

Plus one to this. You would be surprised how effective an hour of your time at a food bank can be or how many meals a donation as small as $5 can provide

Not sure on the exact height or weight, but I’ve grown a couple of 100 pounders before and could pick those up with some considerable effort.

The pictures don’t do it justice but this thing is huge! I have grown a couple around 100lbs and this one is running about the same (at least that’s my guess.)
Little bit of orange on the skin, so it may be done growing? The cooler nights might’ve had something to do with it

Pumpkin update:
Currently about 20+ pounds (they grow quick!) and I’ve covered it with an old picnic blanket
The reason being is that direct sunshine hardens the skin which stops growth. So, you can keep it growing by keeping it shaded
Long time no post but… we got a pumpkin!!!
The plant sprouted four total fruits but one was growing faster than the others. I picked the others so the plant would put its energy towards just this one
Right now, it’s about the size of a volleyball

Long time since an update but we’ve sprouted flowers. These flowers attract the pollinators a few days before the flowers with ovaries sprout

Made a little chicken wire ramp to hold it up as it crawls to ground level so there’s not a harsh bend in the vine. That can cause it to crack and possibly kill the whole vine
