OK I'm not crazy. Closer to Fine and Way Beyond Empty both have acoustic guitar looping a chord progression that includes Dsus4-D-Dsus2-D-G.

I don't want to be wide awake at 4am having deep thoughts about humanity I don't even have the faculties to articulate, but here we are.

Also brain circuitry dysfunction is really interfering with working on sequencing drums. I'm fine on other stuff but drums in particular today, or should I say, the particular ways I need to work on drums, are getting tripped up by attention and other problems.

I need to incubate the hair metal cover for a bit, so I pulled Don't Worry Be Happy off the back burner. Mostly going well but I'm still having trouble getting phoneme timing on the now non-swung vocals to sound right. Chorus is great but verses still sound kinda clumsy.

At least twice a week:

Me: time to walk away from YouTube and go do something productive
YouTube: can I interest you in Victorian ______?
Me: goddammit

I found my jellyfish guitar pick while cleaning earlier. I forgot all about this. Don't tell Samurai Guitarist I have one. He makes at least 2 videos a year calling this out for being one of the worst guitar products ever.

Idea: a documentary streaming service specifically about tragedies and mysteries out in the wild. The different subscription levels could be called like the Donner Pass, the Dyatlov Pass, etc.

My spam folder has one of those "hot singles in your area" emails from something calling itself JUCYDATE. I momentarily mixed JUCY up with JUCE, a popular cross-platform audio plugin framework, and was very confused for a sec.

I was singing along to the Take On Me chorus and was like, yeah...no, I'm not even gonna try and hit that note.

By which I mean the 4th one.

Confession: an earlier "make an account so I can practice organizing my thoughts and words" I did years back was setting up an email for Deceased Macho Man Randy Savage and I would email his dead ass talking through whatever problem I was trying to deal with at that moment.
