A Portimao return makes the most sense to me too, take the rest time, recover and back in fighting shape. it's also one of the two tracks on the calendar he has never won at (the other being mandalika).

I hope so too, but watching him get up and his arm just dangling there until he popped it back in place was brutal!

That being said, bez is still at fault, and should absolutely face a penalty for being out of control of his motorcycle, but that is not at all to suggest he did this intentionally

I honestly cannot think of a better or more action packed sprint! Bez totally blew it and then somehow still wins! UNBELIEVABLE! and seeing Pedro, alduguer and Fernandez fighting at the front filled me with hope for the future 10/10 sprint

That sprint podium was a window to the future of #MotoGP, these guys (and Pedro) are going to be who we watch battle for titles after marc retires (or loses his edge, but it doesn't look like that will happen any time soon)

I'm hearing rumors, rumblings, and speculation that Marc may not sign with Ducati for '28, and will go back to HRC....

This sprint felt like a glimpse into the future of the sport. These are the guys we are going to be watching battle it out once Marc retires... Real shame about Pedro crashing out too, but this is becoming a pattern for him and I'm not sure whether to blame him or KTM.

Bez was simply unstoppable, and I feel like we got a glimpse of the future of #motogp, these young riders are going to be the next big rivalries. And what a shame about Pedro!
10/10 just superb sprint race, literally cannot say enough about it
