Even within india i'd barely call it 'casteist'. And broadly its not classist at all, in fact most third world countries mostly consume plant based products, theyre incredibly cheap and easy to access in first world countries.

They consider the preferences of the animal, because they know that the entailments of their view should lead to not harming animals, because there is no morally relevant trait true of animals that if true of human that we'd be fine with just murdering and eating others on mass.

What is 'white veganism'? It doesn't mirror anything of the such, the motivations and what is often communicated when people object to animal suffering even within cultural practices are vastly different. Culture should never be used as a justification for torture.
