literally bc he has mom issues. kotono is similar to in attitude n personality like Mama Iimori, which triggers the hell outta tamago n makes him go on trauma defense. its a huge personal problem n tamago knows it but interacting with kotono post mirei arc still leaves a bad taste in his mouth.
