Wild. Usually I hear about people complaining about someone being on stand-alone Quest (because Quest can’t see most avatars). I usually hear more of the “you poor, unfortunate soul” sort of comment directed at desktop mode users.

Correct. I have a small Discord server with a bot thar SocksTheWolf created that bans scammers and the logs are loaded with those ban messages.

If a banned person was in the server, an additional message will say the user “has left” the server.

I was about to say I had no trauma, but then I realized I had one big problem in my social history: indifference forming/maintaining friendships.

I’m wondering if I’m subconsciously worried about ruining my friendships…

This dragon is one brow movement away from yelling at a loaf. 😋

How is it that I can be around friends (in VRChat), slowly start to mentally degrade into almost an anxiety attack, and still be afraid to ask for help calming down?

My gut instinct was seriously to run away so that I didn’t interrupt anyone watching movie.

That’s happened to me before at my house.

My wife insists on having the Christmas decorations up *despite* her health/pain challenges, but then doesn’t have the energy to take them down and *despises* even the thought of me putting them away (she’s VERY obsessed about organization).

Setting up mic filters for my voice in OBS Studio is aggravating. I have a low “normal talking” voice, but some VERY HIGH screams!

Biggest challenge is avoiding distortion when those rare screams hit while still keeping my normal voice volume (db) in a good range. :-/
