Boggles my mind it took almost a year for a watchdog group to determine that Pete "Loose Lips" Hegseth was a security problem with his cavalier attitude towards war planning.

I used to think it would have good to have gone to Northwestern University after high school.

I, too, am stunned I had an MRI the same week as Trump. I bet dollars to donuts they had to sedate him to get him to survive it.
The only other thing we have in common is we prefer to wear long pants and not shorts when golfing. Not to imply we have or ever will golf on the same course.

Had an MRI tonight over at VHC. I couldn't name the Metallica album they played as the soundtrack during it. Been too long since I have been to Hellfest.

I can report this from personal experience.
If someone phones in to schedule a brain MRI in response to chronic and debilitating headaches:
By all means put us on hold, but for god's sakes spare us that hold music!

My life hack for you today.
If you are 65+ and can choose a PCP, pick one with a geriatric specialty. It's a week into my change and it's already a big improvement.

Good clarification. I am also hung up on the absurd idea held generally by the legal field that - no matter how corruptly it is given, a president’s pardon is irrevocable.

One remarkable thing- Hegseth will be held to account. But he will never understand it. Not because he is trying to claim innocence. He won't try to blame anyone else.

She presents medical data from a hospital, that a girl - tragically - died of measles. She presents the baseless claim from MAHA that she did not actually died of measles.

On the Epstein files release and any crimes committed:
Per 18 U.S.C. § 1591, there is no statute of limitations for sex trafficking by force, fraud or of a child.
That might not be true for the jurisdictions where crimes were committed by anyone in the files, but true for Federal prosecution.

In the Comey case, the statute of limitations has now been extended by either 30 days or 6 months. I think it is 30 days. After that, no chance to reintroduce charges.

I felt seen by that post, too.

But I disagree with the court ruling that a Senate committee can scupper a nomination. System should be if you aren't confirmed by full Senate in session, you don't serve until the next session.
As the governor-elect said, she expects a prompt up/down vote on her nominations.

Governor-elect @abigailspanberger.com is correct. Gov. Youngkin politicized the universities, looking for an issue to run on. He was at his best when he ignored Trump, but at his worst when he fanboyed him.

None of the denouncing the Democratic video on illegal orders makes any sense. We had trials and executions after WWII that firmly established that "just following orders" is not an excuse by any stretch.
The only people who would deny that would be actual Nazis- oh, wait.
