I’m hoping the PG community can do this too… I’m worried the GRC are too ’mainstream’ (?) to respond to the issue?

Real shame - particularly as the Italy meeting was a festival of giant leaps forward in understanding as international groups could share ideas x

I spoke with my US colleagues before cancelling. My reasons were exactly the same as yours and are unlikely to change until the government does. We can and will relocate our meetings to keep our colleagues safe and to protest! Diversity of view, background and experience is what feeds good science.

Grand location today for the @ukri.org BBSRC 30 year anniversary meeting. I must have been one of their first case PhD students and I’m still very grateful to hold funding from them now. Excellent discussions for the future.
