@indivisible.org When No Kings 2 is over, I’m asking Indivisible’s national staff to take a hard look at the way they are exploiting volunteers to create their vision. No progressive organization should ask people to work for free. Volunteers are putting in 10 hour days. Unsustainable.

It’s also crazy to me that NPR doesn’t bother to explain that NWEA is a fake not-for-profit owned by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, a company that has made billions of dollars off the narrative that schools are failing.

Like I said, believe whatever makes you feel good about what’s happening in schools and has been happening in schools for the last 20 years.

As someone who has personally volunteered uncounted hours and worked with people who are volunteering and working full time unpaid to make No Kings 2 happen, not to mention a large (for me, a retired teacher) donation toward the events, I can tell you who is funding it: WE THE MF’ING PEOPLE!!
