What is the emotional hook of Deep Breath is Clara hasn't seen the Doctor for ages and wasn't with them when they regenerated?

They clearly just wanted Eleven and the Ponds to all go together, which is understandable, but this "fix" just completely mucks up the entire season. How does something like The Snowmen even work without Eleven mourning the Ponds?

What the hell is this impractical nonsense supposed to fix?

Just mad that they decided to do a live action adaptation of one of the longest running series ever (that's still isn't finished) at a time when it takes years and years just to produced about eight episodes.

S1 aired in 2023? Shit, I doubt they'll even make it that far at this pace.

Really am curious to see how far the live action One Piece gets into the story before Netflix inevitably cancels it for being too expensive. My guess is the Skypiea Arc.

At least the pilot originally aired first, I can think of a few shows were they didn't air the pilot at all or held it until later, and big surprise many of them got cancelled.

The pilot was originally a separate miniseries, it was essentially a micro S1, but it is annoying how it never get bundled with the rest of the series on streaming or dvd despite being produced by the exact same studio. I had to fork out to get the US boxset because the UK one didn’t have it.

So many fix-its posts for Doctor Who can be easily summed up as "Make it exactly like RTD1 again or at least my imperfect memory of what RTD1 was like".

By "dull life" they mean with Rory instead of Eleven, something the show repeatedly told us Amy wanted and was happy with. She had fears of commitment and of being abandoned and discarded, but she never dreaded just having a normal life with Rory.

My favourite doctor and companion

Curious to see if he's try for his accent or just grunt his way through the film like with The Witcher.

He's a shallow guy who only likes stuff that looks cool and badass and if you showed him artwork by recants artists with distinctive and individual styles he'd dismiss it as boring or lame if no one is holding huge ass weapons.

Many of his defenders say Rob is "just passionate about comics", but that isn't really true. He's passionate about the stuff he liked as a kid (mainly Wolverine) and when he struck big, but he doesn't strike me as someone who really cares about it as an artist or storytelling medium.

Liefeld has really settled in to being the grumpy old man of comics, constantly grumbling about "kids today" and how "things were better in my day" when he isn't sucking up to the comicsgate crowd or whinging about Marvel.
