was talking with a friend a couple days ago - is it really the norm to ask permission to tattoo someone’s art on your body?

i never considered the possibility, and frankly idk if i’d even be upset if someone tattoo’d one of my designs on their bod. not to say my outlook should be the norm

is anyone capable of explaining to me what the difference is between a sketch and a finished art piece. a sketch to me has always been a rough pencil drawing that establishes the ideas represented by a finished, but then i see some goober post a beautiful ink piece like ”sketch from this week :)”
