The galaxy photo is 1 hour of exposures. I intentionally didn't process out the Musk crap. It's really sad that the night skies are screwed up by this as well as ground based light pollution. I fought light issues here, but gave up when I pissed off the club and got kicked out. Long story. ☹️

It takes a bit of practice for sure. I have to admit that I do cheat a little and run FLDigi these days. If I miss some, I just glance at the screen and see what the other guy sent. I still use my brain 98% of the time sending/receiving though.

CW does come through well, often need to tighten down the filters a bit, but it works.

58 years ago there was one. Today there is over 8,000 and growing about 60 more a week. Enjoy the skies, they are quickly being ruined.

It is! When VNC was still free, I sat at the local park at sunset and remote controlled my station and worked a few DX contacts from my phone. I still love CW and the digital "chat" modes. Rarely pick up a microphone other than just a SWR test.

If there is such a thing as a remote contract job, I'd be interested. Might need it next year unless Dems grow a pair and fight back to keep ACA.

Thanks. I've been listing more things this afternoon. The more stuff up, the better the chances. It's been very slow these days, and even very popular things we have sold in the past aren't even getting views. Thanks to our worthless "president" destroying our business.

Tough decision. I have to add up the cost of the games I have and download each month. I'm sure each game is at least valued at $30 so I'll probably just deal with it.

WTF? $30/month? I started when it was $18. I guess it's a good deal seeing games are $70+ now. I'm a "casual" player and wonder if this is too much now. Do I buy eggs, pay my ACA health insurance, or play games also? Grrr..... Gaming is my escape from reality, but stupid costs. Crap. 😫

Cool. Made my first full CW contact in a while. Good to get off the digital stuff now and then and just do some classic CW contacts! I'm at 12wpm (down from 14wpm) but still copy and send just fine. Only to NY (440 mi) but still satisfying and relaxing!

This shit should have ended with Sandy Hook. Those kids would have been finishing high school....but they are forever about 5 years old and dead.

Typical midwest MAGA. No Dems would ever put those flags on their truck like that.

I guess I'm calm about it since its become "normal" sadly.

Strange that we hear about this from BBC and no other report of it. I didn't hear about this one. Just another day in the US.
