When planning began, it was hard to imagine exactly how it would all come together โ but thanks to this team and to all of you who attended, everything ran smoothly. We hope everyone left with insightful knowledge, lovely friendships, and unforgettable memories from Oregon ๐ซถ๐ป
14.08.2025 05:53 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0We also had 25 amazing volunteers whose help made everything possible, though I canโt list them all here. Special thanks go to Linda Smith, for handling much of the administrative work, and a big shout-out to Volya Kapatsinski, Kaori Idemaru, and Spike Gildea for all the behind-the-scenes work ๐
14.08.2025 05:53 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0We began organizing in the spring of 2024, and the Institute has truly been a team effort. Even though some couldnโt attend, our PhD students contributed from early on: Dakota Whisler worked on merch design and initial social media, and Nadia Clement designed the Institute poster ๐คฉ
