i do just like the idea that theyre gallavanting around the universe and answering distress calls. maybe they stumble onto some kind of intergalatic evil plot or something lol

idk the plot aspect has been bothering me for a minute. because i do want this to be a lengthy-ish fic, and its hard to do that when the sole focus is on their relationships.

everything i have written could technically be part of the first chapter 💀

what are they gonna do for the other four?

however, this also means that i have to figure out just what exactly the plot is 😭 because yes, its romance, and yes, its got solid characterizations, but what will they be DOING

posting periods will probably be two weeks. the whole point of having so much done before i start posting is to give myself plenty of time to keep my backlog in order. i'd really like to be consistent with it.

mostly because i dont trust myself to finish any kind of huge project once it moves past preproduction stage. and if i have a solid foundation done and finished, then i am more likely to keep at it.

i want to have prologue 1&2 (yes theres two) + the first five chapters done before i start posting anything.

anyway. to any g1'ers out there, sorry for liking a good story.

like hm. something just resonates with me about being a horrible awful person and then still trying to do better than i did back then.

sometimes, mostly in gwunner circles, i get flak for liking idw so much.

and its like man, sorry for being invested in a story about people doing irredeemable things, but always trying to be better than they were the day before despite that.

If my Soundwave characterization isn't based around love and hope and how those things can destroy you, then I ‼️ DONT ‼️ WANT ‼️ IT ‼️‼️‼️‼️

he believes that his guilt is his to carry and no one else. to share that with the one person who is guaranteed to help is, in a twisted way, like breaking his vow of repentance.

he does not deserve the help that soundwave freely gave and continues to give to him.

megatron is especially ashamed. he wears his guilt like a cloak that gets never takes off. it steers him and keeps him straight on this path. to 1. share that guilt 2. offer it up completely and 3. have it known completely- it is something he does not deserve.

It's not even that they are hesitant because of the person, its because they are so, so ashamed.

though, convincing either of them
to show and merge their sparks together is like trying to get a cow to go down some stairs.

Both of them are hesitant to because of all the baggage they carry. If they merge, that baggage is laid out completely for them to see and pick through.

another piece to this puzzle is that they do, at some point, need to start spark merging. like its actually a necessity because soundwave is Fucking Dying and spark merging is one of the few things that can at least slow down that process.

and if megatron lets him in? lets him look around and be swept away? gives him such access to something he so jealously guards? *hoh*. its so joever, chat.

anyway, every time they fuck its soundwave getting off on the emotions coupled with physical pleasure. he becomes so in tune with whomstever is in his berth, and god forbid it's megatron because he's just going to *drown* in him.

anyway, i know writing sex is fun and all, but when it comes to megasound... its almost impossible for me to not make it the most emotional endeavor possible.

i mean soundwave is telepathic for primus' sake.

the fall is slow, but the impact is hard, ground shattering and completely unavoidable.

but the other thing about megasound is despite the fact that both of them are so reserved by nature, once the door is open they simply flood through.

they're the kings of when a slow burn turns into a wild fire.
