The lead developers are literally saying 'We made too much game, too hard, too stylish, and it might sink our company'.

This is a game made because its creators couldn't NOT make it. They followed a weird compulsion to its bitter end, profitability be damned.

I really hope it becomes profitable.

It's wild to hear the writers of The Hundred Line talk abut the game. Like they went into a fugue state, Dwarf Fortress style, and created something that fully drained them
