There's this interesting effect where mainstream celebrities, the media, and the general public normalize a part of queer subculture (pup hoods) so much that its basically a non-issue, but the ACTUAL queer folks themselves demonstrating that culture get thrown to the wolves.

I guess I don’t really understand the specific situation you’re getting at.

As someone with an ocd brain that -literally- jumps from stresses moment to moment all day, sometimes you just want to release that pressure valve and say something sucks. Dissecting it with questions can actually come across as less empathetic, like it’s a puzzle you want to solve.
