Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.

When Piet ist older. Like 30+ or so. I really like this one, he feels so real. He's not as skinny anymore and has rounder features like his chin and nose.
