Great advice, which I think applies to a lot of academics. It can take a *lot* for a student to approach a scholar they've been reading for years, so be kind.

Did you see the image? It's pretty hilarious. I can *kind of* understand using AI to lay out a figure (scientists aren't all great artists) but it's shocking that the authors didn't check it for accuracy AND peer reviewers/editors didn't catch it either.
