She held her hands up in defense, still visibly tense and wary.

"Oh please. If I was going to cause trouble, I would have brought some guards. I've been on my best behavior."

Tempted to make a ruckus.

She reached up, stroking just under his chin with her finger, her tone playful and condescending.

"You're funny. As if I'd let a dog into my bed."

"Now you're certainly flirting. You're trying to get under my skin."

"You're quite mouthy for someone who doesn't care."

"The delusional one is the little boy who thinks he can talk to me this was and not be punished."

"Well that certainly isn't helping your case right now. With how you jumped in unprovoked, I wasn't sure if you were trying to fight me or flirt with me."

"Do you talk to all girls like this? Or am I special?"

"Oh, but you do. Otherwise you wouldn't be here arguing with me."
