It might be part of the reason I adore "The Big Lebowski" as a film. All of The Dude's dialogue was loaded with "um" and "uh" and they were 100% in the script. Bridges makes it flow because there's a near-lyrical cadence to the dialogue. Would not recommend for every movie.

It's really fun to see you working on a few DC books. Nice work here.

It definitely added depth, and it was good. Maybe if it had been broken up a bit more? Fatale is one of my favorite Brubaker / Phillips stories, so this is just me nitpicking.

When Nostalgia Ink opened 14 years ago, to sell new comics you either needed a Diamond account or had to be good at hijacking UPS trucks. They were done in by their own hubris in thinking they were an untouchable monopoly. I can't see myself keeping my account active with the new crew.

The new Diamond Comics had me go through a few steps to get into their new operation. After getting hit with a few pop ups asking me to subscribe to marketing e-mails (no, thanks!) I took a look around. Lemme see...

There's nothing I need. Nothing. I can order from Yankee Candle, though!

Volume 3 was all the background of Fatale. Please don't get me wrong (it's really good) but I felt it was a lull in the overall series. The good news is it's all wild times as you hurtle towards the conclusion.

Anyone feeling thirsty? (This comic was released in 1996...I'm sure this is fine.)

At least White Sky #1 has caused people to stop asking if I have D'Orc #1 in stock.

The old Muppet Show had some great episodes (though it's all great). My favorites: Alice Cooper, Milton Berle, John Cleese, Harry Belafonte, Mark Hamill, Elton John, Rita Moreno, Buddy Rich, Liberace, Steve Martin and Roy Clark. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few. (Berle vs Statler & Waldorf = GOLD.)

I see what you did there. They need to get the East of West compendium back in stock. I feel like I could sell a stack of those to Absolute Batman readers right now.

I've seen more new customers because of the Absolute books. Batman was the initial hook, but the recent crossover with Wonder Woman has people digging into that one now. This has been very organic growth.

The next step is to get them to try other books. (Lots of great Image books that are similar.)

I'll need most of these and they'll likely sell out fast. I have customers who want every single variant, especially on Absolute Batman. Never seen anything remotely like this. (Sex Criminals variants came close, but were nowhere near this numerous.)

Ooooo....dibs on the cultist robes if you don't want them!

Love it! Already have the hard covers in my personal collection, but I have a few customers who want this.

If you thought volume 1 of Fatale was great, just wait until you get to end. It's an amazing journey of crime noir and Lovecraftian horror.

Living near Cincinnati there will be a day once every 5 to 8 years where I think it would be nice to own a snowblower. Today is that day.

They don't even have monthly order forms any more. I just go into the FOC Weekly now to zero anything out as I really don't want Diamond to ship anything to me. I had one thing on last week's FOC and it's something I ordered so long ago I can't remember who ordered it because they killed Pullbox.

Hi, comic retailers! Check your copies of Avengers #34 (#800) this week. All of my copies have pages falling out of them.

A well-deserved honor. Bug Wars was one of my favorites from 2025, and I'm ready for more.

I think Mr. Pibb should have stayed in school and earned his degree. He'd be more competitive with Dr. Pepper.

So my choices are I can buy the A cover of a comic book in perfect condition OR for the same price I can buy a blind bag version that probably has the A cover with bonus spine damage.

Decisions...decisions...

I think the best thing about this list is these series are all fairly young, so it's not too daunting to get caught up on them. I recommend any of these titles.

When someone owns the copyright to FCBD...

At least they picked the same day so as to not cause extra confusion.

I can't currently think of a more incompetently run bankruptcy.
