DC / Milestone did this back in the 90's with their World's Collide crossover. Those issues are hard to find intact.

We just got a few random Simpsons and Futurama comics in. I was amazed at the back issue prices on these.

I imagine the issue involves licensing from Bongo, but Disney has money to burn.

As a small business owner I get AI generated e-mails for:
--Accounting services
--virtual assistants (whatever that is)
--telephone operating systems
--voice recognition registration for search engines
--Credit card processing companies, who are very keen on seeing my processing data

It never ends.

The whole Milestone line was terrific. Xombi remains one of my favorite horror comics.

I just got copies of Endeavour #1 this week.

I saw this movie in a crowded college theater and it's probably the only movie I've seen where the whole crowd screamed/jumped about 8 times. One of Carpenter's best, and it's frequently overlooked. (I think it's currently streaming on Prime, but beware as the preview ruins the movie.)

Power Fantasy, Exquisite Corpses, Batman (Fraction), Uncanny X-Men, Bug Wars, Department of Truth, the Absolute books, Criminal...lots of great books coming out now.

If you're reading this, do yourself a big favor and read this book! It's a whole bunch of fun!

It can always be worse...

Take it from someone who dislikes IPAs, Eight Billion Genies is delicious. Glad it's coming back!

The fears of it being a flop that would denigrate the monsters are why Karloff passed on it. Then he ended making movies with Bud and Lou. (Also some classics.)

It's a great film that blended the antics of the best comedy duo in history with the Universal Monsters. Seeing Lon Chaney Jr feed straight lines to Lou Costello is amazing.

They're about as edgy as a Nissan full of Nickelback fans.

My absolute favorite. I've watched it over a dozen times and always seem to pick up some new bit of nuance to it. (The Big Lebowski, too.)

I can't join in, but this is still one of my favorite sci-fi comics. When I get my reading pile to a more manageable place, this will get reread.

Labor Day was spent laboring. Nostalgia Ink acquired a massive collection of about 70,000 comic books. While there are no major key books, we have uncovered some good stuff.

Was really not sure what to expect from a title like White House Robot Romance, but the first issue is good. Really good. You should definitely pick it up on 9/3!

All these books are terrific and I'd recommend any of them. Hoping we'll see more Reckless books sooner rather than later.

I've almost entirely stopped orders from Diamond at this point (they have nothing new to order), so I may have to order some supplies to burn up my credit, but at least those are tangible and useful.

If Diamond owes you money for authorized returns, contact them. They only have 3 customer service reps left, and they are good folks. Be nice to them, as their jobs are likely thankless at this point.

Be patient. They will help you. And you can get that money back from Diamond.

What this essentially meant was Diamond was prepared to simply keep your money and hope you didn't notice or care enough about it. (For me, this was under $200, but money is money.)

Here's the thing, though. Diamond is contractually obligated to accept those returns and issue a credit to you.

Hello, comics retailers! If you're not already aware Diamond announced that they have immediately discontinued the authorized returns program.

If you're like me, I had stopped ordering returnables some time ago, but there were still a few titles that never got authorized.

Sales plummeted on Harley for us once Jimmy and Amanda left the series. It hasn't recovered at all. I only order for a couple of subscribers + 1 wall copy (which usually sits).
