Finished off the DevSecOps learning path yesterday on TryHackMe.

They updated the SOC Level 1 Path however, and even the older legacy version of the path (still active) has some updates. I'm going circle back around and re-clear the legacy path, then work through and finish the newer version.

Had some fun poking at Huntress after NCL Individual CTF Ended, on my own again.

Ruby League trophy obtained on THM.

LetsDefend streak since I haven't updated that here in a while.

I also finished up Silver League 1st place, Sapphire League 1st place, and Diamon League 1st place over the last month and a halfish. That completes the original initial set of bronze/silver/gold/sapphire/diamond. Now I need to get platinum and ruby to have them all.

Finished TryHackMe CompTIA Pentest+ Learning Path, yes I already have the cert along with a slew of others, just showing continued interaction. Helps keep perishable skills updated and in memory.

Wow... forgot to mention that's on TryHackMe platform. Whoops.

Obtained First Place Badge today for Bronze League, that added to the Gold Badge I already had leaves just Silver, Sapphire, and Diamond Leagues left to vanquish.

Did not realize some of these "rooms" have different worth for questions, It's not taking long to earn points, least not near as long as I though originally. Some rooms are worth <100pts, some rooms 300pts, apparently difficulty rating plays a part. Neat. Focusing on easies made this take longer.

As I work through the remaining THM SOC Level 1 path modules, I'm thankful for having already spent time in LetsDefend training learning most of these same aps/tools/etc. It helps cut down spin and dwindle time. Espicailly for these Splunk, Kibana, Elastic Search lessons.

LetsDefend's "Know How" on your public profile page is almost too long to capture even stretching it across two 4k monitors without having to shrink the view scale. Also the last three most recent badge earnings on there while I was looking around.

600 day streak hit on Letsdefend. Been keeping up with the newest releases courses, and I've been working through the two latest reverse engineering courses. Those two appear to be my kryptonite.... I'll get them done at some point, challenge is good.

2 weeks ago I participated in the CyberSkyline NCL Individual CTF. This last weekend I also participated on the Team CTF. I'll post scoring and such after leaderboards finalize and badges & score reports are released. I missed Practice week this season unfortunately. Still reviewing & learning.

Participated in the Individual NCL-CyberSkyline CTF last weekend, still waiting on leaderboard finalizations and scoring adjustments. Will be participating in the Team version this upcoming weekend. This season I'm on a team with two non-WGU and an unranked person (unsure how that will affect).

Well still trucking along, 555days on LetsDefend and finally hit top 1% group on TryHackMe.

Hit the 500 day mark. Originally I thought I would work to the two year mark, but honestly I'm running out of content to keep the streak alive with. I also want to break away and revisit taking the CISSP, CASP+, CCSP, and CISM. Then BTLM and CCD Certifications.

LetsDefend.io released the DFIR Learning Path today. As soon as I enrolled in the path it auto completed. New Certificate. Still looking forward to more new content on LetsDefend.

Web Attack Detection and Analysis Path still has a grayed out badge on the Awards page, but no path released yet.

Knocked out the Pre-Security and Cyber Security 101 Paths on TryHackMe as I have full member access now and I worked a number of those rooms already during the previous site wide prize event. Now I can focus on SOC Level 1 path again. Never hurts to revisit the basics.

NCL released our badges for this season earlier today. I'm including my prior season badges. Gotta get that platinum back up to diamond next season! Scoring keeps getting more difficult.

450 day streak on Letsdefend.io. Up to a 67 day streak on TryHackMe. SANs Holiday CTF is open, NSA Codebreaker still running, THM Advent of Cyber2024 is running. Picking priorities is fun ; )

2024 NCL Fall Team CTF just ended yesterday evening. They sent us these participation badges to hold us over while they tabulate final scores. This concludes my third full season participating with the NCL CTF's. Looking forward to Spring 2025 now.

NCL 2024 Individual Fall CTF Completed Last Sunday. I essentially maintained my placement from Spring season. Leaderboard finalized yesterday, awaiting score reports to compare seasons. I competed in the Experienced bracket. Webapp and E&E are my weakest. I've been working on Forensics.

The month long Huntress 2024 team based CTF just closed, daily released challenges that I only had two days of engagement with. Completed more challenges than I did last year (progress) with only two days of engagement. I have hopes to participate in a more engaged way next year.

SIEM Engineer Path opened today, already had it all completed, click-click new badge/certificate weeee.

Hit 400 day streak on LetsDefend. Also completed all Tier 1 Security Analyst Alerts and made the scoreboard for my 3rd LD challenge.

Just finished up the AWS PerSEStence Challenge on LetsDefend.io and this was the last item needed to complete the AWS Security Path. 362 consecutive log in days and I've completed all nine learning paths available. 11 courses un-finished.

Programming for Cybersecurity path done also now. Had some challenges with the a few questions in the lesson for Go, but ultimately got through it. Still waiting on AWS Security Path to open.

The AWS Path certificate just popped up this week, it's not available in training or searching the platform yet, I've inquired as to when it'll be released. But even counting it, I've completed 7 of the 11 certificates available. 2 are just alert based, 9 are lesson/course based.

Recently completed the newly added CompTIA CySA+ Perp path (actually certified last year), the Google Cybersecurity Professional path, and the Detection Engineering Path. I've got Programming for Cybersecurity path and a few "alert" completion certificates to earn. I see AWS popped in as well.

I wound up making it in to the top 10 for Global, and top spot for US on LetsDefend.io leaderboards. Not sure how long I'll retain those spots, but capturing that I did it at least once, for a while here.
