Is this a logo that existed elsewhere? The 58T Giants use the Seals cap design.
Okay looking at that and 1977 Topps Mexican is a thing?
78 Minton followed by a few 88s for sure.
Folks, I regret to inform you: This design was OK'd by the Citizens Coin Advisory Committee in...October 2024. Its design was set in place when Biden was in office. The designer left out the olive branch to symbolize the colonists' not yet achieving peace, but hoping for it. Trump didn't do this.
Yeah at least in this case Topps didn't know what the logo would be yet.

Also interesting that while they use the narrow font for positions and the wide one for team names they don't do the same when first/last names are different lengths.
Wondering if they chose the wrong font for MacArthur Lane and that's why they didn't all-caps him.

This thing where I feels like oddball ages should go in reverse order to comics ages.
While they're still too high those prices are way lower than I would've expected.
IIRC that's his first Braves card which makes it extra interesting from a free agency history PoV.
Very strong gritzwear vibes to that duck.
the times demand it
For the last two weeks, a Sicilian Redditor named ItalianSausage2023 has been digitizing classic musical SNL performances from their own VHS collection. The audio and video quality's great, better than most copies of these recordings online—if they exist at all. www.reddit.com/user/Italian...
I'm reading the blog now.
