At that Xas gave a chuckle. It almost sounded like Dvenn really wanted to use the laser. Well, why the hell not?
"Sure, the cutting laser would make removing the baking soda crust easier. It'll require steady hands and precise movements though. I have no doubts that you're highly capable."

As for the smell though, I recommend dusting or covering them with baking soda. The powder absorbs the odor and can be crushed off afterwards."

Xas' eyes flickered with amusement as her temptation of using his equipment to open engrams. "Well, quite honestly, the cutting laser would probably render the engrams inert. All data inside would be destroyed most likely. --->

Looking up from the rock sample he was working on, Xas gives her a questioning look.
"Ate you wanting me to open for you with my laser? That's a rather unusual way to deal with engrams."
