So...that's it. Avast had to go because it was broken on Firefox, and yes, this is huge for me. Very silly, I know. [...]

After 14 years, I've replaced Avast with Windows Defender.
Okay, listen, this is huge for me because I don't do well with change, but somehow an Avast update in the past month did something to it, that caused it to crash randomly while browsing...whatever. No idea what exactly, triggered it [...]

turns out it was caused by coffee. Once I started drinking decaf and weak coffee instead of normal or strong the pains disappeared. :´D

A run down hotel on the mountain. There are quite a lot of those scattered all around the Black Forest Highway, unfortunately. In the past, people enjoyed vacationing here, but times change and the hotels lost their customers. Now there're only ruins left, rotting away.

A path leads through a field towards a forest. In the background, the mountain top with the transmission tower and an air turbine are visible, but still partially hidden by clouds. The sun has risen and is sending lens flares through the picture. I am honestly surprised my camera was able to capture that!!

A drawing showing a pack of wolves celebrating a festival with fun activities centered around...rocks. Many characters are scattered around the picture, talking, eating, playing. The ground is mostly covered by grass, but some bigger boulders are visible on the edges, which are also bordered by huge fir trees and other foliage. A little stream flows directly behind the grassy area and on the other side of the shore, more fir trees are growing, far into the distance where they begin to fade into mountains, which are glowing golden due to the Alpenglow phenomenom.

I finally finished the background. <3
It was for a big collab in my rp group, so the players drew their own chars and I did the background+shading.

Used my own photographs from my alps vacation this summer as references. <3

I'm very, very happy with how it turned out. ;V;
