It's my birthday!

It's been a year of ups and downs. I've been diagnosed with both Crohn's Disease and Celiac and have gone through some minor surgeries.

I had another breast lump investigated and it was, once again, benign 💗

But I also saw my art officially published by Disney this year!

It feels good to be old!

AND in two weeks I'm heading to Walt Disney World for just the second time in my entire life!

This weekend I plan to keep my partying low key. But the REAL celebration will be when I'm a crying mess with Minnie and Daisy at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Overall, for my birthday, I want to express how grateful I am. During the wonderful times AND the struggles, I have an amazing support system around me. Friends, family, loved ones, and a community I hope NEVER to take for granted.

I love, I am loved and I am truly, TRULY blessed!

Hey folks, I'm trying to remember an Scrooge comic from my childhood.

Scrooge is trying to cut down a tree that's blocking the light in his new glass building. However, tons of people keep showing up to try and stop him. Tree eventually falls and breaks the house.

Anyone know the title?

Sadly there isn't much the two halves of our great state can agree on. And the middle thinks we're both crazy.

The game mats were kind of like BIG mousepads!

I have found all mousepads are becoming hard to find. I don't know if folks don't use them much these days or what, but even finding Disney ones is weirdly difficult.

That's a difficult question as PA is very much two states in one.

My perception of what's definitively Pennsylvania as a Pittsburgher in the Western part of the state is wildly different from a Philidelphian in the East or even folks living in the middle part of the state.

It would mean the world to me, but I haven’t had the opportunity yet ❤️

A lot of the #MyLittlePony cards I worked on also did double-duty as #CCG playmats.

Likewise most of the playmats eventually became cards of their own!

How long ago was this? It seems like you've come through the other side, but I have no doubt it was a difficult healing process 💜

The good news is that the breast lump was benign and the iron deficiency was caused by a bleed in my intestines, but no severe damage.

I am incredibly grateful. Far too many times folks find out about Crohns when damage is much further along. I may need infusions for the rest of my life though.

I have had such a journey! It started with a breast lump which led to an iron deficiency diagnosis which led to a Celiac diagnosis which led to a series of exploratory surgeries which led to...Crohn's!
