TEMPORARY STORE CLOSURE // We are required to temporarily close our Tory Street store next week to allow for the owner to undertake seismic strengthening work. The store will be closed from Mon 5th - Fri 9th of May and will reopen on Saturday 10th May. We deeply regret any inconvenience caused.

We've had tomatillos in store recently which always get quickly snapped up. While an unusual sight around these parts tomatillos are a staple of Mexican cuisine, particularly as a key ingredient in salsa verde. We chopped ours in half, drizzled with olive oil and roasted in a hot oven for 10-15mins.

You may have noticed that our Wellington City store on Tory St is not looking itself at the moment with scaffolding obscuring it's normally beautiful facade. We are in fact completely unaffected on the inside and operating as normal. Pop in and make our staff feel like they still have purpose! 🎻😄
