The worst thing about this (IMO) is that ChatGPT informs users up front that it cannot access current information. It states VERY CLEARLY that it works from an older data set that excludes current events.

It feels so bleak. Apparently she's been using generative AI "to do ALT text" for a while now and when her AI "source" turned out to be wrong she used that as an excuse for sourcing gen AI when writing ALT text and reporting government action are two different things.

Taking time out of my depression spiral today to warn people, if you've noticed reporting inaccuracies for some time from Alejandra Caraballo, turns out she's been using AI as a source for months, and has just been revealed. The list of blocked programs she posted today has severe misinformation.
