Dedicated waste workers recently secured a massive win! I met Adam who has contributed 20 years and Dennis & Ian almost 30 years to their jobs. These Cleanaway workers deserve the better pay, safer conditions and job security they’ve been fighting so hard for. I'll always stand with our workers' to have fair pay and protection at work. One year ago Labor brought in 50 cent fares, I’m proud of this policy because it’s making a genuine difference for those who need it most. Countless locals have shared what this initiative has meant for them, in some cases it’s saving hundreds from household budgets. The whole process was surprisingly easy, the actual donation only took 8 minutes. Knowing this small act could help save up to 3 lives makes it worthwhile and I’m hopeful others do too ❤️

I’ll be honest - this was my first time donating because I get queasy at the sight of blood and have been putting this off. As a first time donor I was nervous going in, but Karen and the amazing staff made me feel so comfortable.
