I've been depressed lately. I think I'm capable of realizing and accepting, though, that this is a necessary moment. I think so much of my exhaustion comes from thrashing around to escape my mental illness, when truly the best thing you can do when you're sick is to rest.

I agree, I said this myself but I do acknowledge that this is a generally (relatively) happier album after a long streak of really downer albums so maybe she just needs to get into a new groove

Cancelled really is such a perfect portrayal on whats happening on that album. She isn't giving into the aesthetic or making anything special, just kind of going with whats working but weaker. There really is a lot of nice catchy material there so its not a failure, but far from her best

You see the album has a lot of nice moments and catchy melodies but idk taylors soul just isnt there. i don't feel like Taylor really said anything with this one. I'm definitely open for seeing a positive swing for Taylor since its been 4 albums of doom and gloom, but a little spice would be nice

I kinda expected this but its just a little :/. I hope that her fiance dumps her so she can go back to confronting her demons instead of singing about memes and trolls or her boyfriend's "Redwood Tree"

This is just my first impression but its a very clean B tier album to me. There's a nice handful of bits and pieces that I liked but I can't say any song had me really compelled, nothing felt particularly special
