Colorado’s mobility hubs do key things: shave significant minutes from travel time (esp. when center-loaded) and serve as connection points for other routes and modes to get you to or from your final destination. The I-25 express lanes, free for transit, likewise help. And it shows in ridership!

They’ve reallocated 5 seconds of time from southbound left to northbound left, & think that will alleviate it

In honor of my mother’s birthday (she would have been 93 this week), a snippet of a letter from my grandfather in 1990. Right out of Grapes of Wrath.

A most moving commemoration. Always the plea: Slow down, move over, *protect* the folks maintaining your roadways. 64 people have lost their lives working in CDOT’s regions.
