DURING dinner at a restaurant
recently I told the waiter,
"l'd
like a glass of water, please.
" Imagine
my surprise when he simply nodded,
then replied "Still?' The idea that
I would have inexplicably changed
my mind about this drink order just
seconds after making it seemed so
ridiculous that I decided not to leave
him a tip.

The thing is, the people pushing harsh immigration policies never take into account that these are human beings. Every one. Not just statistics to get votes.

Greenland’s capitol city Nuuk has six hospitals serving 60,000 people.

The Des Moines, Iowa, metro area has six hospitals serving 700,000 people.

Sure they need a US Navy hospital ship that's currently in dry dock undergoing repairs.

Around north Bristol there are several old signposts pointing to a non-existent place named Charlton.
Charlton was a village on the outskirts of Bristol which was demolished in the late 1940s to make way for a runway and factories for the failed Brabazon aeroplane.

Tony Blair: 'psychological flaws' remark was brutal truth about Gordon Brown | Nicholas Watt Tony Blair had been in power for barely a year when Britain was given a taste of a bitter feud between the two neighbours in Downing Street

Whilst Brown was having his character assassinated by Tony Blair’s closest aides, Mandelson was busy emailing convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein that he had β€˜persuaded’ Brown to step down as leader of the Labour Party …here is some background

Can we agree that America's dominance is over, and Trump has accelerated that. China is now in charge, so we should probably start taking this simple fact a lot more seriously.

The great noticing continues. πŸ‘€
Former Observer journalist clocks that Blair, Campbell, Mandelson and Clegg are not great centrist politicians and a safe pair of hands but destructive, warmongering, traitorous money men serving the US Empire.
They never notice at the time though, do they?

UK in talks with US over β€˜best possible deal’ for British firms amid higher tariffs threat Business leaders expect UK to β€˜double down’ on deal announced by Donald Trump and Keir Starmer in 2025

How long is it going to take Starmer to figure out that Trump is utterly untrusworthy and is opposed to every decent value people in Britain stand for? You can't do a successful deal with the devil

The very same media that scolded starmer for mandelson are now parading someone that killed thousands and is most likely compromised by the Russians. The media can fuck right off if it thinks it deserves an ounce of of respect

Is the screen-based bureaucratic management tasks (attendance, record keeping, email torrents, form filling, reimbursement labyrinths, inane video training boxticking, multiplication of online platforms and teaching materials) demanded by Uk university making us dumber and exhausted?

Please do not embarrass Farage by reposting his 'Happy Birthday Mr President' tweet. Be careful not to draw attention to the fact that he's holding a bottle of Trump wine, it would make him look like a fawning sycophant, and we wouldn't want to do that ... would we?

And a reminder that in addition to Iran, the US is simultaneously using its military and other power to (1) strangle Cuba; (2) continue to repress daily life in Minneapolis; (3) illegally detain thousands across the country; and (4) implicitly aid Russia by using up/not giving Ukraine more hardware.
