Slice and dice. Sit back, think in safety well I don't really agree with her but it won't affect me. Some way down the line, wow I've just been diced.

06.10.2025 15:58 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Good though depressing point
01.10.2025 18:53 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'm sure you're right and I'd never wish to pretend to be an expert or offer false hope. But for me it was a game changer as I thought I was cleaning my teeth properly. I wasn't. But very best wishes
01.10.2025 16:14 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Sorry to hear that. Of course we are all different. The dentist I went to when my teeth were falling out told me there's nothing you can do, you have periodontal disease, the process will continue. I went to another dentist, was taught how to REALLY clean my teeth properly. All fine for ten years
01.10.2025 16:00 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Same was happening to me in my 60s. Then I steadfastly stuck to two minutes morning and same in evening with an electric brush with timer so 30 seconds each front, back, upper, lower. And interdental brushes all as advised by dentist. Now all stable thank god. It works. Good luck
01.10.2025 14:43 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0But is she not asking of someone wishing to live here permanently that they jump through more hoops than was needed by her forbears? Her family have clearly assimilated adequately enough for her to be Home Secretary. So it's admirably possible. Seems more like Reform-lite than anything else
29.09.2025 20:11 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Thatcher, when asked what is your greatest success in politics, replied - Tony Blair. Perhaps we ought to widen it - the Labour Party
28.09.2025 13:23 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A you don't know. There has been zero wish from UK Gov so impossible to say what deal might be struck.
B so what? It clearly won't be happening under Reform, Tories or (sadly) Labour. Other options are increasingly coming into view.
Me and the millions who have voted Lab all our lives and won't touch this iteration. I struggle to see why Lab mimics Reform, it only lends credence to it. We had hoped for better but now accept that other options are available. The point is do YOU want tighter controls? Lead don't follow
27.09.2025 08:23 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'm more "interested" in the Party I have voted for in over fifty years trying to scoop up a few votes from the fetid racist pond that is Reform rather than address the two main issues. One xenophobia in politics should be confronted , not added to. And two rejoin EU. Labour is failing in both sadly
27.09.2025 08:07 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 0That implies you're happy that Mandelson was appointed and MacSweeney is advising the Party towards the correct direction. Lots of Labour members and voters don't agree
27.09.2025 07:44 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I agree Claire. From the heart and appealing to the best of the peoples within the Union. You can choose care and compassion, or you can go down the route of Trump Putin and Farage. An appeal to the best we are not the worst we could be. Optimism is a rare take on UK politics for so long.
23.09.2025 17:32 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0And the govt push to build build build doesn't address the structural problem. Greater "supply" won't make the "commodity" more affordable. Wealthy investors will hoover up many of the new builds off plan and squeeze the market to increase profits
20.09.2025 08:13 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Shadows are falling and I've been here all day. The unavoidable awareness that we (including you me and he) have a limited time this time around, maybe this time ever. A lovely song from Bob Dylan in case you don't see the assumed reference. And a very appropriate sentiment for these troubled fimes
16.09.2025 17:40 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Damn I wanted to see how thick that particular brick was.
16.09.2025 13:29 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I've thought the same until just now when I heard the news. Ref Mandelson, "If I'd known then what I know now I wouldn't have appointed him". He's just reduced his wriggle room dramatically and given a hostile press greater impetus to find the smoking gun/salacious document that was always known
15.09.2025 17:00 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'm not a betting man, but fxxk yeah. But if I were, could I put money on Starmer NOT contesting the next election. Definitely yes. In many ways how depressing. Winding back Sunak, Truss, Johnson, May, Cameron. All disasters. Starmer? What a tragedy. An heretofore decent man blowing his legacy. Why?
13.09.2025 17:54 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Thank you will give it due diligence. Best wishes and may a way be found back into the EU. I'm sick of what passes as politics here since 2016
12.09.2025 08:14 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Really? I have never seen such a figure before although anything is worth it compared to the last nine years
12.09.2025 07:40 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Agree with sentiment but please David even putting it out there legitimises. Whilst Labour is now clearly a lost cause for those like me who for decades thought Tories no thanks UKIP and passim, no way, so of course Labour. But in many areas there are viable and winnable seats, that are not Reform
11.09.2025 15:24 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0George you're a good bloke swimming in a sea of what the privatised water companies dump on us. My respect to you. I'd rather have hoped the name Sabisky would not be passing my eyes again, but then I could say that about Mandelson and many more

10.09.2025 19:54 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Sorry to hear of your loss. I'm a bit worked up cos night sweats are becoming ever more the thing and the ever increasing fatigue gets deep to the bones. CLL slow but effective, just wish it wasn't
10.09.2025 19:29 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0How strange. He's not saying he wants a Farage government, he's saying that unless Labour offer some kind of alternative narrative, so not Cooper saying flags are wonderful, we're going to get one like it or not. Don't shoot the messenger, the blame lies with this strange Labour(?) government
08.09.2025 18:51 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0And there was me thinking Lisa Smart was seeking an urgent judicial review. Hey wait a minute.
08.09.2025 17:46 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0As is the state of Israel which occupied a fraction of the land in 1948 they occupy now. The IRA was proscribed as a terrorist group. Did the UK state wipe out the buildings of West Belfast and create famine there after pub bombings and related atrocities? When you have nothing to say, say nothing
08.09.2025 13:07 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Where is the push back from central government? When Asian shops, roundabouts etc are painted with "English" symbols and abuse for non white English, cabinet members are asked do you have flags on your house? Answer with no equivocation, we love flags. Racists takeaway, go further faster
08.09.2025 11:26 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0As do Libdems with a far bigger organisation and many more MPs. If one's voting intention was not Tory, never Reform and now not Labour and you live in a place where Libdems were second it would be strange not to vote for them. If Greens or "Your Party" really had a chance then vote for them, sure
07.09.2025 15:47 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Agree with first two but not the third. Get out the way for - what?
06.09.2025 12:54 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It's my dear Ma and leave her be. Born in 1911 and never voted Reform. Thought that Farage fellow probably had bad breath.
