One of the states is "Restricted", which makes a party member briefly incapable of moving.

The other one is "Disoriented", which causes a party member to randomly hit anyone- including themself or other party members. If they're Restricted at the same time, though... they can't do that. Hm.

Implemented three regular enemies and one boss and uhh.. I think I may have not fully thought through the status effects two of the enemies and the boss can inflict onto the party, because they kinda just cancel each other out.

Decided to start jotting down everything I did to work on my game into a writer document each day. I feel like it's helping me stay focused on it? Seeing a long list of things I have done for am working on helps take focus off of all of the stuff that's still unfinished I think.

Tbh I think the smoother version of it with more frames looked worse because I was using the wrong sort of reference and also because I'm working with a MUCH more limited palette than usual, so the stiffer movement made it feel more "retro".

I spent days trying to figure out how to make this sprite animation look good, at first thinking it might be because I needed more frames for a smoother look... Only to find out today that I absolutely didn't and the walk animation just needed less exaggeration.

I've realized why im feeling weird. I haven't eaten more than once a day since I moved in...look im stressed im trying to get shxt done but I don't have groceries in my new place. If you want to or can help, please do.
