When are you hopping on
Unless you played a ton of CS (or R6 kinda) the chances of anyone being good at Valorant the first time they try it are nearly zero lol. I started in iron 3 when I first picked up the game during COVID, but have a decent rank now. The learning curve is just kinda steep.
Idk "if you will never understand pay for video games" is entirely true. Maybe for standard price AAA games this is true, but some indie games like Hollow Knight or Deltarume are SIGNIFICANTLY undervalued imo.
I actually was kinda curious about how Clair Obscur got funded with such a small team of Junior devs but like. Why would anyone be angry about this.

Just in time for your break from Premier
Oh fuck you opened a rare pack
I still haven't opened one yet and I open 3 packs a day lol. I think the odds are like 1-200 or something? 0.5% but it might be even lower.
I read a random news article that popped up on my phone's news feed bc I was curious and this might be one of the most insane non sequiturs I've ever seen lmao
its amazing how chatgpt knows everything about subjects I know nothing about, but is wrong like 40% of the time in things im an expert on. not going to think about this any further
Me, presently wanting to beat myself up for not studying computer science instead of getting a game dev degree that's pretty useless in the current industry climate.
I remember watching a video at some point about how if you do this you have to do half of your movement in update and another half of your movement in late update or your movement won't be consistent with frame rate even with deltaTime. I'll have to see if I can go dig it up.

Damn the boss animations have gotten way better
The end result of blanket tariffs is not people choosing to build production lines in a country likely to reverse them in 4 years. It's the economy finding ways to cut American markets out of their business model.
hey so uh one of the main Nintendo Switch 2 Direct streams completely ate our trailer due to I guess technical difficulties?? so if you guys could share this it would mean a lot π
Fromsoft really did a demon souls to dark souls transition but for bloodborne to get around Sony. And then made it Nintendo exclusive. Crazy.
I can't believe how much fromsoft there was in the direct lmao
I feel like a year announcement is copium but if it actually comes out this year I'm so excited
I saw it in my TCG Pocket wonder pick pulls and wanted to scream
Eh sometimes it's the "WoW arm pauldrons" thing where it doesn't matter how factually correct something is if a trope to the contrary informs perception more than reality. If the design ends up being interesting anyways straying from realism, even knowingly, can be fine.
Those wave tails are inspired creature design
Because it gives me perspective entirely uncorrupted by my own opinion. A random dude yapping about what they care about which gives me more insight and context from which to form more complex and nuanced opinions of my own.
Also even though the player is capped at 99 there should be a level 100 boss somewhere just to force the player into a level disadvantage always
99 easily
When are we hunting together in high rank :)
Kinda wish the player had a little more contrast. There's enough noise on the screen that if I'm just looking for this low res pixel art character that uses a similar color scheme to the rest of the level my eye strains a little. Same goes for the enemy and some interactables.
I've been ordering the cravings box for the last 2 years what
