Reminder that Arc Raiders still uses TTS for voice lines just like the developers previous game The Finals.

It just comes off as a little scummy to me. They also seem to really advocate for using AI in their dev pipeline and it just rubs me the wrong way.

Still waiting for my copy of Little Nightmares 3 to ship.

Anyway, I enjoyed the demo for Reanimal way more than the demo for LN3.

Been playing Kingdom hearts.

Not sure how I feel about it yet.

Listen, after you've experienced Xenoblade 2 undocked just about anything is better.

I predict we will have a souls-like gacha where you have to pull for all the weapons and armour and grind bosses for upgrade materials.

So far the only performance drawbacks are a few things:
-720p when docked
-Low res textures
-Near LOD and lighting draw distance
-Locked 30fps

Though, honestly, the art design and contrast are so good that I don't mind the drawbacks.

Ended up trying out The Outer Worlds again, this time running the switch port on switch 2, and, yeah, I still really like it.

Something about how Obsidian builds their gameplay around the setting and story just really grabs onto me. Not to mention the insane sense of freedom in the dialogue.

Ubisoft, please give it a switch 2 port. I will gladly buy that game again.

Omg... If that AC mirage update truly delivers on all the QoL they showcased that will make Mirage not only one of the best stealth games to introduce players to the genre, but could easily make it the best AC game for me.

Time to finally play Kingdom Hearts mainly just so I can watch this.

Okay, I'm now emotionally prepared to play chapter 13.

Have some extra time off so I'm going to use it to get an ongoing small project off the ground.

I'm going to have a YouTube channel where I can archive raw gameplay footage for future use. Essentially a free-use B-roll kind of thing.

The real question is, are they capable of handling the tonal shift going forward? I've never gotten very far past volume 4 in the past but I'm much more open minded and willing now than I was then.

Still, I'm not expecting masterful writing from the red vs blue studio known more for their peepee poopoo jokes. RWBY really just stands out for being such a unique blend of different genres, concepts and forms of presentation.

I still enjoyed volumes 1&2 a good amount as well. There are some... questionable story decisions and you can kind of tell the story is built around the fights more than anything, but it was still fun to see the characters bounce off of each other in those smaller moments.

Been doing a RWBY rewatch recently thinking that I probably wasn't going to like it all too much nowadays. I've heard lots of cynical reviews and retrospectives in recent years but went in open minded.

I'm happy to report that volume 3 is still legitimately extremely good. Like, surprisingly good.

I guess it's time to finally get into the Yakuza games.

Haven't finished it yet but Fear The Spotlight is pretty good! I think it's only 4-6 hours long.

I'm in the state of exhaustion that I'm playing bad games so that when I get my energy back I can play good games.
