SPiNDLE but extra Spicy

All this to say, expect more lore and mini stories !!

Not much will change for you if you're keeping up with the good ol' #SpindleLore, most of the changes are in the background, but this will at least make me actually want to draw other aspects of their lives and do mini comics !

-Since the characters already weren't "major characters" and more so "NPCs", just their past will be changed.

Same goes to my Novakov characters, although they'll retain more than my Crysilia period characters. Originally bounty hunters, but I'm changing that to a "The Office" but cyberfantasy

I want to explore other facets of my characters and show you that, but I just didn't feel drawn to the "adventure" part as much, so I'm definitely retconning some major plot points (like how Asi/Otti met) and hopefully actually expand on that more

The world by itself doesn't really need changing-

I've been heavily reworking (and retconning) some of my characters lore, specifically their past and "occupation."

The original stories I had for them started from either DnD or something similar, and that kinda no longer meshes well with what I want them to be

Wind is so fucking strong and it's so cold I think I may have gotten hypothermia a bit ago (was tying down a solar panel on the roof as it nearly flew away in the wind)

I'm all better now and practically hugging the fireplace, but holy fucking fuck this was way more dangerous than I expected

It's one of those "damn I kinda suck" depressive periods of my life

Btw download the Expressions Megapack let's you use already existing NPC and in-game expressions on V in photomode.

Since I study expressions a lot for my art, I noticed so many little subtle movements be it in the eyes or mouth twitch or lips that are extremely well made. (In general the devs cooked so hard with body language and subtle movement it's ungodly how much attention to detail there is)

I agree. Even if there are other games better graphics wise and even more realistic faces, the full package of faces with expressions that do not in the slightest look uncanny is unmatched with cyberpunk

Oh yeah for sure, 90% of my mods are basically clothing, and I'm even trying to make my own clothing mods

I don't have a list but basically just go to nexus and download what you see fit

i only have a light ver of NovaLUT as a lighting/tone mapping edits mod, no textures or big changes to anything else

The game itself looks great on its own (without the heavy post processing that, fits the vibe, but i think is too strong)

yup, it's kinda why if I add any mods I try to keep them within those vibes, as well as keep my V's look the same

(which ngl i do prefer that colourful aesthetic over the current bland/bleached black/white modernity of our world)

Cyberpunk is more so retro-future than sci-fi or "modern" future.

for example, try to put an older 90s or so car model in the game and it'd look fitting, put a modern car in the game and it'd look out of place

Some of own art would fall under the "uninspired" tag. But because it falls between the context of my other works it may be seen as otherwise.

also sex poses are fucking hard to draw so even if it's "generic" sometimes the anatomy skill I see in some artists' stuff is fantastic

calling it slop is FAR too strong of a word, generic? basic? "idealized" (in their own personal way, there is no objective ideal body/style)? sure. If you want to go stronger maybe uninspired (which again, is NOT a bad thing, even if i prefer other works), but slop is extremely derogatory

Though I disagree with your point. Even if I personally prefer otherwise, there is nothing wrong with "generic pose with idealized/sex doll" art and I wouldn't call it slop (so long it ain't crossing into the illegal shit)

If anything, genAI made me look much more deeply into why I appreciate human art and not the slop; what is it I like about art, artists, and just creating beyond my previous surface level understanding
