Two Canadian teen brothers (Alex and Sam) who volunteer to collect old electronics so that we can donate them to the Electronics Recycling Association, which wipes clean, refurbishes, and donates them to Canadians in need. 🍁 Sustainability, Youth activism
There are benefits to using your device as long as it still works: 1) your wallet and 2) the environment.
Then please donate it to an organization that will refurbish it, wipe it clean and donate it to somebody in need. This is called circular economy. Tech bros don't want you to do this.
I will be contacting local politicians in Canada to try to get them involved in the electronics reuse & recycling program that I am involved on. Will you respond to my survey to help me build a case?

My brother, Sam, and I make a great team. We have almost doubled the number of electronic waste that I collected on my own last year. Only 3 more to go!
Also, we are very close to surpassing the milestone of 350 items collected since the very beginning! We have until August 31st. ♻️💻🍁

That's exactly our mission! We collect old electronics and donate them to a company that wipes them clean, refurbishes and then donates to a Canadian in need. If it cannot be refurbished, then they recycle it instead.
It's #GlobalRecyclingDay! Recycling keeps valuable materials in use so we don't have to extract more from our precious environment. While it's important to practice the higher tiers of this list first, it's still important to remember to recycle what you can. 💡
