So the plan was to work on this WAYYY later down the line, but stupid bug with Godot has forced my hand.

Introducing, Godot's Handheld mode interface! A mode I planned for the Steam Deck to be able to play the game :D

It seems like the team behind Godot has started looking into the bug report i put out, which is cool. In the meantime however, I got started programming something else that isn't affected by this bug.

Hoping to show it off later today, however it is a little buggy and rushed.

So i just updated Manjaro, and it seems like there is some weird issues now going on with Wayland, Forward+, and Nvidia drivers(?) My game doesn't work when using Wayland with Forward+, but does work if i switch to X11 or switch to Compatibility, and this only started after updating today.

Starting work on the Calendar for the game now as well btw. This is the most difficult thing I've worked on for the BIOS by far, but it now shows the month and year... now, how to get it to display the days in each month is gonna be a but of a difficult process though...

Wanted to fix some issues with the audio in the BIOS sounding a bit... degrading over time. This is something I've been wanting to fix for the past couple months but just haven't gotten around to it (cause i knew fixing the perfect loop of music would be annoying)

While working on this part has been really fun, and I have gotten through a ton of stuff at this point (there is text boxes and npcs, 3 different levels, etc) I think today my main goal is gonna be to rework the BIOS menu as it currently is such a mess to get working. Wish me luck

So for the past couple weeks now, I've completely moved on from Windows. I wiped my old Linux install (Zorin OS was good, but man did it have its flaws) and I'm now on Manjaro. Definitely some learning curves but it has been quite a nice experience so far.

Progress has slowed down a bit on QBEmu ever since the main artist has been a lot more busy. Because of that, I've been working with some other people on a silly little Roblox game as I wait for them to come back, or someone to take their place, which hopefully won't be too long from now.
