Whenever we get out of this, antitrust needs to be back on the menu in a big way.
Defense contractor and car maker and social network? Not anymore.
Web hosting and retail and defense and a big newspaper? Nope.
Cloud computing and TikTok and CBS and CNN and more? Get ready for some rough riding.

political news media does such a disservice whenever they cover polls. new example: latest poll comes out showing Mamdani with double digit lead, while average of polling hasn't moved, they then report Cuomo has closed the gap and Mamdani in trouble. so so bad of news media.

I've been screaming this, that word has got to get out better. I don't know the magic fix for it, but it can start with us telling everyone we know. You're gonna know someone who's going to miss getting SNAP, and we can at least tell them Republicans refused to pass the Dem bill to do it.

โI have learned to accept the fact that we risk disappointment, disillusionment, even despair, every time we act. Every time we decide to believe the world can be better. Every time we decide to trust others to be as noble as we think they are. And that there might be years during which our grief is equal to, or even greater than, our hope. The alternative, however, not to act, and therefore to miss experiencing other people at their best, reaching toward their fullness, has never appealed to me.โ

Clearly define your values and stick to them and embrace your own natural personality. When a candidate comes along who does that Dems will recognize them right off the bat. We've seen the mini version of that in NYC, and lo and behold Democrats are starting to panic. Cut it out.

It bears pointing out that Trump's bootlicking, traitorous servants in the Congress have sabotaged it, helping to neutralize Article I of the US Constitution, by keeping the House adjourned for an unheard of period of time given that *the federal government is currently shut down*

It didn't work out so well for King Charles. These people think that they're going to establish and continue an autocracy when trump is no longer there. But they're throwing everything into chaos, and they will not control the aftermath. No one will be accepted as a replacement leader for him.

sure, you can introduce new conflict that cross-pressures voters in a new direction. this is what trump did with entitlements in 2016. one proposal is for dems to take on corrpution. a related fight could be an anti-system/'populist' campaign against corporate influence in the D party (Sanders 2016)

Itโs hard not to feel like one of the reasons the Democratic Party isnโt united or on its way to a core strategy is because so many individual electeds across the ideological spectrum arenโt interested in unity. Thereโs a pervasive โpick meโ vibe in the party at the moment.

You've got to do everything in your power to protect your rights. That means ensuring that they don't win a primary, first off. He's the governor of CA right now and one of the few standing up to Trump. NYC needs to show that people show up to vote. If it doesn't, we're all in trouble.

Shock Video Shows ICE Agent Assaulting Woman Who Asked If Heโs A Good Christian
Hundreds protested Tuesday at an ICE facility in southwest Colorado after agents detained two children on their way to school.
This is ugly. But the reason this lady was protesting is even worse. ICE thugs detained two children and their father on their way to school. One child appears to have been beaten in detention, and no one seems to know where the 12-year-old girl is right now. The family had been seeking asylum.
