Hi folks, I'm Aaron (he/him) and I'm an Advocate at Microsoft, focusing on #dotnet on Azure (or .NET on Azure - pick your preference 😝). I'm here to make the cloud easier for everyone to use, especially for #JavaScript and #dotnet developers.

Hey #dotnet - we on the .NET SDK team are all about making the `dotnet` CLI more capable and powerful over time. But how do you usually _get_ the `dotnet` CLI and other tooling? Today that answer is a _bunch_ of different ways. We have a plan to centralize these ways into a new tool, and...

Yeah, if we were going Kia, we'd probably go that. The 9 would be more if we wanted to do some future proofing of logistics of kids + weekend sport + they'll probably be tall like me

good to know about xpeng, their SUV is around the size that appeals - we've got a Tuscan currently and it's around the size that fits our life style.

Although I did see a Kia EV9 in the wild the other day and was like "damn, that's nice but huuuuuuuuuuuuge" 🀣

Ohh, I didn't know they were a Geely subsidary.

It's more a general observation these "startup" EV's.

They look very nice, but I worry that in years to come, how many survive, so will we still get OTA or mechanical support.

And yes, BEV's require much less mechanical support, but still.

My biggest worry with these is that the manufacturer won't exist in 10 years time, and that's the kind of timespan I want out of a vehicle.

Moon nuclear is not that crazy an idea if we want to have some long term occupation up there. Wind won't work, can't really do fossil fuel, and solar... well two weeks of night ain't great.

Don’t ever let anyone convince you that transitioning off fossil fuels means going back to Little House on the Prairie lifestyle. There are so many innovations, solutions, healthy ways to meet peoples’ needs. One small example: check out the world’s first solar train in Australia. lnkd.in/gtwaRqix

that works like "gi" for gitignore, but with prompts. Need a react component and don't know the prompt? Try "peep react-component" in your CLI:
