This just keeps getting more real.

To be fair to attendees my tip jar has a sign that says I will take trinkets and random items, because I enjoy receiving stickers and snacks. But the billions of resin ducks have no purpose and I struggle with what to do with them.

Every single furry event, convention, art market, etc this happens. For a while it was worm on a string, but nowadays it is tiny plastic babies and animals. I get a lot randomly “hidden” on my table or put in my tip jar. People do it to be fun and cute but it is becoming wasteful and overdone.

I know some people add eyelets to them and turn them into charms for kandi bracelets but you can only do that with so many of them. They really are just landfill fodder. ; w ;

Weirdly enough the thing I miss most now that I’m back from #anthronorthwest is the free pinball. I really love pinball it’s pure dopamine, and husband and I kept going back to the machines all weekend lol.

I love all your forms but elephant Caudle is such a mega cutie and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that sticker on one of the trinket tables at this con! You’ll be going in my sticker book when I get home. >w<

We have our problems like any subculture. Not every furry is a good person! But we have so much GOOD in this community and I have never felt a fraction of this at other cons.

I told her how I used to work a lot of other events and cons and that I never thought I would get as into furry as I am now, but it’s so community driven I feel so welcome and wanted here. Everyone is so kind to one another, people look out for each other, they are generous and sincere. 💖

At ANW. I pass by an older woman at the bounce house. She asks me “MEOW are you?” I laugh and we started talking. She says she’s from a company that gets hired out to work events and that this is her FAV, everyone is so kind and happy here. She told me “I wish the whole world was like this”. 😭💕

Day Two! Sold out of some items but all the adopts are still available and there’s gummy worms aplenty left!

Seriously what a good omen.

ANW I am almost ready for you. The gummy worms still need their thread sculpting and I *might* make some more last minute things but as of now these are the plushies I’ve got ready to find homes!

I’ll have 3 mousey toy plush available at ANW! Totally new item on the menu that I’m super stoked about. 🐁🪤

I started sweeping all the leaves off the back porch but letting them layer over the ground and it’s been perfectly fine! Started letting parts of the back yard grow naturally too and I’ve started seeing more pollinators and even a baby black racer snake sunning itself in one spot. Priceless imo.
